I wrote this piece after I attended the Banff Centre For The Arts Summer Jazz Workshop, where Kenny Wheeler was one of the faculty. I was blown away by the beautiful melodies on his Music For Large and Small Ensembles, and wrote this piece in an attempt to find a nice melody of my own. It's dedicated to my wife Cidalia.
